Siempre Tango Ottawa, established in 1999, is Ottawa’s first and longest-running Argentine Tango school. We teach and study Argentine Tango and ONLY Argentine Tango. We are committed to growing the social Argentine Tango community in Ottawa and Gatineau!

NEWS + HAPPENINGS IN MAY + JUNE 2026

Sunday, May 3In May, Sunday Classes and Práctica will mostly continue as usual, but with a few changes to accommodate teacher schedules. See our Sunday Class page for details.
May 9-10Francis “Pancho” Cloutier will be back in Ottawa. He will teach private lessons (email us to book), DJ at La Capital on May 9, and teach 2 workshops with Jewel.
Sunday, May 17No Sunday Classes or Práctica (Victoria Day Long Weekend)
Sunday, May 24Sunday Class at 4 PM with Francis Caron, followed by Práctica.
Sunday, May 31Sunday Class at 4 PM with Marcel, followed by Práctica.
Sunday, June 7Our Summer Session begins! New classes on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.
June 12-15Lya Elcagu gives 3 workshops and private lessons during her stay.

Weekly Group Classes

All group classes will be subject to our policies for payments, role balance, health and safety, and conduct. Please read up here.

On Mondays starting September 8, we offer El Jardín, with both intermediate and beginner classes, followed by a casual practilonga. Read more about this special class here.

On Thursdays, we offer Tango Lab for intermediate and advanced tango dancers. Check it out here.

On Sundays, we offer a variety of classes for Beginners and Intermediate tango dancers. See our upcoming offerings here.
